A pair of Michigan State Champions signed up recently as 2x State Champ Skyler Crespo is in at 140 and returning D2 State Champ Alec Rees signed up at 160.  The entry list continues to grow, sign up today before we sell out!

Returning GFC Heavyweight Champ registers

The returning heavyweight champ Blake Coffell of Michigan is in for #GFC2018 - the 2x state placer will look to become the first ever repeat champion at 285! He is coming in off a breakout 9-0 performance at the Disney Duals last summer.

Nationally ranked returning champ Hines registers

Last year Malyke Hines scored one of the biggest wins of his career at the GFC when he knocked off nationally ranked Travis Ford-Melton of Illinois in the finals, catapulting himself into the national rankings.  The Lehigh committ and 2x Florida State champ recently registered and is coming back to the GFC to #GETSOME and go for a back-to-back title.

GFC Champ Bouzakis is back to defend title

2x Florida State Champ Nic Bouzakis went on a tear to win the GFC last year at 112lbs with a dramatic finals pin.  He has continued his success and is currently ranked 10th in the country at 120lbs.  Bouzakis is entered in the loaded 119lb weight class.

Fargo champ Josh Edmond registers

Another Top 10 nationally ranked DCC Shamrock is in for the Grappler Fall Classic as State Champ Josh Edmond registered at 135lbs.  Edmond won the Cadet Freestyle National Title at 132 this past summer.

Nationally ranked Florida champ Reyna registers

Sunshine State is bringing more heat to the GFC as a group from returning State Champion team South Dade recently registered.  Most notably is 2x state champ, nationally ranked Bretli Reyna at 130lbs.  State champ Todd Perry (171) and State Placer Tyler Orta (130) also signed up to #GETSOME from South Dade along with a couple youth hammers in Frank Solorzano and Guillermo Jaramillo.

GFC Champ nationally ranked Davenport is back

Kevon Davenport is one of the top P4P seniors in the country - a 3x state champ going for 4 this year.  He is also one of a few to win the GFC in all three divisions - Elite, MS, and Elementary.  The #5 ranked 145lber in the country is now officially on board to return to the GFC, registered at 145.  #GETSOME

Florida's State Champ Rivera twins register!

Chris and Justin Rivera of Florida are both registered for the Grappler Fall Classic!  Chris is a 2x State Champ, Justin is a state champ who also placed 4th at the FloNationals and is ranked nationally by FloWrestling.  They are registered at 130 and 135lbs respectively.

Nationally ranked Gamet registers at 119

Another big name is signed on for #GFC2018  - 2x Michigan State Champ Corey Gamet, fresh off a Junior Freestyle All-American finish in Fargo and ranked 12th in the country is one of the latest to sign up.  Gamet won the 2016 Cadet Freestyle National Title.

130lbs gets pair of hammers - Hamdan (MI) and Palmer (TN) sign up

The 130lb weight class got a big boost recently as state champs from Michigan and Tennessee signed up.  3x Michigan State Champ Jordan Hamdan and Tennessee state champ Brayden Palmer are both in to #GETSOME.  Both are FloNational All-Americans, Hamdan won a Cadet Greco Title in Fargo and was Junior Greco All-American.  Palmer was a NHSCA Junior All-American.  

GIRLS: Fargo All-American Rayana Sahagun registeres at 102

The first GFC Girls division got it's first big name entry recently as Rayana Sahagun, one of Michigan's top female grapplers, registered at 102.  Sahagun placed in Fargo as well as Folkstyle Nationals and the UWW Cadet World Team Trials.

Nationally ranked Kai Bele of Florida registers at 171

Kai Bele of top 10 powerhouse Lake Highland Prep High School in Florida recently registered at 171lbs in the Elite Division.  Bele, a Florida State Champ, is a returning GFC placer but has yet to win it #GETSOME

Mutschler & Michigan studs keep rolling in

The big names in Michigan continue to roll in with all-state entries coming in daily.  Lowell 3x state placer Avry Mutschler at 145 is among a crop of top level Michigan entries.  

State Runner Up River Shettler (171) along with all-staters Shane Williams (135), Logan Sanom (145), Jaden Fisher (152), and Joe Haynes (112) round out additional proven Michiganders to sign up early.

Fargo Champ Cramer brothers register

The Cramer bros. are all registered for the GFC!  Alex and Adrien are both Fargo Champs winning Greco titles last summer. Alex won the Junior title while Adrien won the Cadet title.  Alex was an Illinois state champ last year as a junior.  Younger brother Aaron, a former GFC Elementary Champ, is registered in the Middle School division. 

Entries continue to roll in from across the country, get on board today and #GETSOME on October 13th in East Lansing, Michigan.

California bringing HEAT to GFC

A contingency of California stars are making the trip from the West coast to East Lansing for this year's Grappler Fall Classic.

A pair of nationally ranked wrestlers headline the group in NHSCA Sophomore National Champ Chase Saldate (140) ranked #15 in the country and Ryan Reyes (215) who was 3rd in the California State Tournament last year and ranks #10 in the country at 195.

NHSCA Freshman National Champs Jayden Gomez (119) and Henry Porter (130) also signed on to #GETSOME along with rising freshman standout Ryan Luna (105), heavyweight state placer Nick Villareal (285), 2x state placer Ricky Torres (140), and more!  

NY Hammer Chesman registers at 160

One of New York's top seniors from the class of 2019 is coming to Michigan this fall!  Returning New York State Runner-Up and NHSCA Junior All-American Jack Chesman is registered at 160lbs for #GFC2018.

The Champ is Back - Facundo Registers

Returning GFC Champ Alex Facundo is in for GFC 2018.  The #2 ranked 160lber in the country is registered at 160lbs.  Facundo is the #1 ranked pound-for-pound sophomore in the country and is coming in off a Bronze Medal performance at the UWW Cadet World Championships this summer in Croatia.

Swiderski brothers, Ferretti on board for GFC

The Swiderski brothers of Dundee, MI are among recent registrations.  Incoming freshman Casey is coming in off the heels of a phenomenal spring and summer that were highlighted by Fargo Cadet Freestyle and UWW Cadet Freestyle All-American showings.  Tyler was a D3 state runner up as a freshman last year.

Brenden Ferretti of Michigan, who was the 98lb runner up last year (beating Swiderski in the quarterfinals), is another big name recent sign up.  Ferretti was 3rd in the D1 State Tournament last year and is registered at 112.

GFC regular Jesse Mendez of Indiana is coming back!

Jesse Mendez will be one of the top freshman in Indiana this year, but his resume is already as long as most seniors, most notably back to back appearances in the GFC Elite Division finals as a 7th and 8th grader the last two years.  Last year he dropped a lead late to lose to nationally ranked Nic Bouzakis of Florida in the finals and he won the 98lb title the year prior.  This year he is in at 125lbs #GETSOME

Returning champ Whitaker back to defend title

James Whitaker of St Johns, MI launched himself on to the national stage last year at the GFC, winning his first major national tournament which led to placing at the Super 32, winning his first state title, and winning FloNationals in the spring.  He is now one of the most coveted seniors in Michigan and he is coming back to defend his title at #GFC2018!

State Champ Bettich among early entries for 2018

The 2018 Grappler Fall Classic registration opened August 1st and in the first couple days entries are already coming in from all over the midwest with over a dozen All-Staters already locked in.

Among the notables on Day 1 was 2x Division 2 State Finalist and returning state champ Riley Bettich of Michigan.  Bettich was a GFC Finalist two years ago, finishing runner-up at 98lbs.
