Premiere fall national event set for Oct 2-3 in Myrtle Beach

The 11th Annual Grappler Fall Classic is set for October 2-3 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and registration is NOW OPEN!

The star-studded High School Elite Division will once again be a showcase of the nation's top prep wrestlers from across the nation and will be competed in a 2-day format. 

The preliminaries will wrestle all day Saturday (October 2) with the quarterfinals being featured on Saturday evening.  This will set the table for a dynamite day 2 with Semifinals in the morning and the Finals and Placement matches at 1pm on Sunday.

The HS Varsity Division, which featured over 650 high school competitors last year, will once again be held on Sunday in a one-day format.

Last year's High School Elite Division champions included Seth Mendoza (Illinois), Braeden Davis (Michigan), Caden Horwath (Michigan), Joey Cruz (California), Noah Gochberg (Texas), Casey Swiderski (Michigan), Nic Bouzakis (Pennsylvania), Jayden Scott (New York), Michael Kilic (Georgia), Kamdyn Munro (Georgia), Josh Barr (Michigan), Manny Rojas (Michigan), Hudson Hightower (Ohio), Christian Carroll (Indiana), James Hustoles (Colorado).

High School Division information.

New for 2021 the Girls division is expanding with a 15U, 12U, and 9U Girls Division to accompany the already established Girls HS Division.  All girls divisions will wrestle both Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday consisting of folkstyle competition and Sunday turning to freestyle.

The youth divisions will be structured much like a year ago with single year age divisions from 14U down to 6U competing in Folkstyle and Freestyle for each division.

Some of the biggest names in wrestling such as NCAA Champ and Olympian Gable Stevenson have come up through the GFC youth divisions.
