NCAA Qualifiers who wrestled at GFC

Three top seeds headline list of former GFC competitors competing this weekend in St Louis

Every year is exciting to see all the wrestlers who competed in the Grappler Fall Classic advancing to the big dance, the NCAA Division 1 National T ournament.

This year features more GFC alums than ever, including three top seeds: Alex Marinelli (Iowa) at 165, Myles Amine (Michigan) at 197, and Gable Steveson (Minnesota) at 285.  

Marinelli was 3rd at GFC back in 2013, losing 5-3 to Mark Hall in the semis.  Amine was 5th at GFC his sophomore year in 2013 and Gable Steveson won the Middle School division in 2012 at 185lbs.
