3x Florida champ Bretli Reyna signs up

A crew from Florida powerhouse South Date HS recently signed up, including returning GFC finalist Bretli Reyna, a 3x State Champ.  Reyna was 3rd two years and 2nd last year, will now look to climb the final rung at GFC.

2x GFC champ Nic Bouzakis returns

The Bouzakis family claimed 4 GFC titles last year as Nic won the Elite HS 119lb weight, Vince won both Elementary and Middle School titles as a 6th grader, and Jaclyn won the Elementary division 50lb title.  They are all back!  Nationally ranked sophomore Nic is in at 125lbs and will look to tie the record as a 3x GFC High School champion, something that has only been done by Mark Hall (Minnesota) and Zac Hall (Michigan).

Minnesota State Champ Pierson Manville is in

Pierson Manville is one of the top middle school wrestlers in the country, after winning the Minnesota 119lb High School State Title last year as a 7th grader!  He won the Schoolboy Freestyle and Greco National Titles last summer and is in for #GFC2019!

One of nations top incoming freshman signs up

Vincent Robinson of Illinois won the GFC Middle School division last year and the incoming freshman, ranked as the #14 P4P freshman in the nation, will try his luck in the star-studded HS Elite Division this year.

 

Returning Champ Brya signs up!

St Johns Sophomore Jacob Brya rolled through the 98lb division last year and won the GFC title - this year the Michigan state champ is back at 105.  

Cali studs keep rolling in with Clovis North hammers Joey Cruz and Hayden Zinkin

Even more California studs are jumping on board for GFC as Clovis North standouts Joey Cruz and Hayden Zinkin are both in to #GETSOME.  Cruz, ranked #5 in the country, was 3rd in the California state tournament last year and Zinkin was a State Qualifier as a freshman.

TN State Champ David Harper signs up

David Harper has placed in Cadet Freestyle the last two years in Fargo, won a Tennessee State Title last year as a freshman, and was runner up at GFC last year.  He is Back!

One of Nation's top Big Men is coming to GFC

Nicholas Villarreal of Gilroy, California is one of the best big men in the country!  He won the GFC last year, committed to Fresno State, and was a California State Finalist last year.  He is currently ranked #8 in the country at 285lbs!

3x State Champ in for GFC

Skyler Crespo has won the state title every year of HS thus far and is on pace to join the select group of 4x State Champions later this winter.  First, Michigan's #7 recruit will look to win his first GFC Title.

Michigan's top freshman registers

Josh Barr of Davison was ranked #1 in the MI Grappler Freshman Class Rankings and for good reason - he was 4th at Fargo in Cadet Freestyle last summer and won the Cadet Folkstyle National Title.  He also placed in a stacked GFC Elite 135lb weight last year as an 8th grader!

Nationally ranked freshman Horwath registers

Caden Horwath has been known on youth circuits for years, but this summer emerged into the national prep rankings after a runner up finish in Fargo.  The #16 ranked 106lber in the country is among a string of big name recent GFC signups!

Fargo Champ Braeden Davis registers

The 98lb bracket got a boost as Braeden Davis of Michigan, fresh off his 16U 88lb Freestyle Title in Fargo registered in the Elite Division's lightest weight class.  Some huge names have gotten their start in the 98lb weight at GFC, Davis could be another!

Nationally ranked Ohioan Alek Martin of Graham registers

Here comes Ohio!  Buckeye state star Alek Martin, returning state champ ranked #17 in the nation out of powerhouse St. Paris Graham is in!  Martin was 2nd at the NHSCA Junior Nationals last year and is committed to South Dakota State University.

2x TN State Champ Horst looking for another GFC Title

Tennessee 2x State Champ Noah Horst will be making his 4th straight trip to the GFC this fall.  Horst won the GFC Elite 105lb title as a freshman and looks to get another title this year.  He is a Fargo All-American and National Prep School All-American as well.

Top 10 in nation Gilcher is in

Derek Gilcher is a 2x State Champ in Division 1 Michigan and exploded nationally this summer earning Junior Freestyle All-American honors in Fargo.  He is in for GFC!

Top 10 in Nation - Floridas Justin Rivera registers

Florida State Champ Justin Rivera took 5th at a loaded weight last year at GFC, and he is back for another shot at the title this year.  Rivera is ranked #10 in the nation at 138lbs.

Tennessee state champ Trey Bates registers

Trey Bates had a monster tournament last year at GFC, finishing 3rd and knocking off multiple all-staters along the way, including MI D1 Champ Brendan Ferretti in the 3rd place bout.  The Tennessee State champ is back! 

2x FL Champ Noah Castillo of Lake Highland Prep registers

Perennial National top 10 HS program Lake Highland Prep out of Florida has been bringing kids to GFC for year and this year they have one of their best, nationally ranked 2x State champ Noah Castillo signed up!  Castillo is ranked #17 in the nation and was 3rd at the NHSCA Junior Nationals as well as last year's GFC.

Michigan all-staters keep rolling in!

The list of all-state wrestlers from Michigan signed up for GFC continues to grow by the day, among the recent signups were D3 state runners up Christian Killion (Dundee) and Luke Mahaney (Williamston) and Anthony Walker of DCC who was 3rd in D1 last year at 103.

NFWA bringing Sunshine State hammers to GFC

The North Florida Wrestling Academy and Fleming Island High School (returning 3A State Runners Up) signed up a dozen studs to come to Michigan to #Getsome on October 5th.  Among the notables were all-staters Chad Nix (215) and Luke Chop (160) pictured.

Another nationally ranked Californian registers

Jayden Gomez, ranked #15 in the country at 126lbs, is registered to return to the GFC after finishing 5th a year ago.  Gomez, a California state placer, was also recently 6th in Fargo in Junior Freestyle.

Returning Girls Division OW Nauss is back!

In the inaugural year of the GFC Girls Division Sabrina Nauss of Michigan, a 7th grader wrestling in the 155lb division, stormed through the chart and earned Outstanding Wrestler honors.  This year she is back to defend her title in what is shaping up to be a more ramped up Girls division this year!

#5 ranked wrestler in the nation Chase Saldate is in!

Chase Saldate of Gilroy, California is back to defend his GFC title!  The #5 ranked wrestler in the nation is fresh off a Fargo Junior Freestyle performance.

Michigan All-State entry update

More and more Michigan returning state medallists are signing up for GFC.  Among the recent - pictured clockwise starting from top left - Colton Blaha (Owosso), Caden Natale (Hudson), Greyson Stevens (Brighton), and Aiden Smith (Brighton)

Michigan State Champ Homrock signs up

Returning Division 1 State Champ Eddie Homrock of Brighton, MI is among a wave of big time recent signups for the Grappler Fall Classic.  Homrock won the D1 State Title last year and was undefeated in the state of Michigan.  He is the #8 ranked wrestlers in Michigan's senior class.

Nationally ranked Chloe Ogden of Florida bringing heat to Girls Division!

The GFC Girls division is in it's 2nd year of existence and already proves to be bringing more firepower this year with a big time early signup in Nationally ranked Chloe Ogden of Florida.  Ogden, from CFWA, was a Junior All-American last year in Fargo and won the Florida State Championship last year.

Returning Champ Casey Swiderski is BACK!

Returning GFC Champ Casey Swiderski of Dundee, Michigan is back to defend his title!  Last year Swiderski put on a show, out-gunning California stud Ryan Luna in the 105lb finals.  The State champ ended last season among the nation's top 20 106lbers and his brother, 2x State Finalist Tyler Swiderski, is signed on too!  

Nationally ranked Texan Chase Warden is coming back to GFC!

Chase Warden is currently ranked #12 in the country at 145lbs per FloWrestling, he has placed in both styles at UWW Cadet Nationals, Fargo, and Flos.  He was 3rd at the GFC last year.   Now, he is coming back to #GETSOME again as Warden was one of the dozens of all-state entries that came flooding in the first few days of registration being open.

 

Ohio State Champ Heavyweight Alex Coleman is in!

Alex Coleman of Ross HS in Ohio won the State Championship last year and also took 2nd at the NHSCA Junior Nationals.  He won Fargo two summers ago and he was 5th at GFC last year.  This year he will be a top contender to win the 285lb GFC title!
